Philip Roussel is retired and has been an active volunteer at career centers for over 12 years. He served on the Board of Directors of CareerPlace for nine years, and for several of those years, he was the Vice President, overseeing the organization’s programs and the hiring of volunteers. Currently, he volunteers as a career coach, developing and leading a Networking workshop, and until 2017, he chaired the C-level Job Search Work Team of The Executive Network Group, focusing on enhancing job search skills for professionals in transition.

Before his retirement, Mr. Roussel spent over 30 years as a management consultant, specializing in business strategy and organizational effectiveness for large industrial business-to-business corporations. He began his consulting career with PA Consulting in London, moved to Chicago with AT Kearney, and then joined Accenture. He has served almost 100 clients in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, ranging from manufacturers, utilities, distributors, service organizations, and governmental agencies.

Mr. Roussel holds a BA and MA in Economics from Cambridge University in England. He relocated to the U.S. in 1976 and settled in Glen Ellyn, later moving to Barrington in 1988.
