BUSINESS EXPERIENCE: Jim held progressively responsible positions with Motorola in human resource management. In his last role with the company, Jim was Corporate Vice President and Director of Motorola’s Global Employee Solution Centers, where he led the consolidation and management of the Corporation’s HR transaction efforts, globally. As Corporate Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Motorola University, Jim was responsible for the consolidation of all training operations of the Corporation into one entity. Jim also held the position of Corporate VP of Human Resources for the Land Mobile Product Sector (private systems) and VP of Human Resource for the Asia Pacific Region where he was a member of the team to negotiate the first wholly owned company in China.

Jim also served on the Mount Mary College Board, the Board of Advisors for the Dean of the Business School at Northern Illinois University and was Chairman of the Board for the Chicago Project with Industry.
