Ildiko “Ildi” Schultz, SECRETARY

Ildi is a retired business leader, with almost 40 years of progressive management experience in the Insurance & Financial Services industry. She started volunteering in 2014, mainly focused on providing learning, coaching, connection and support to people in job search and career transition. Given her professional background, volunteering at a Job/Career non-profit was a natural next step to leverage her background in hiring, people development and training. She also teaches business courses and is an adjunct professor at Harper College.

Ildi helps clients understand the overall job search process, how to put together a plan, identify and leverage their strengths. She coordinates the process for connecting clients with an individual coach whose skills and abilities will best match clients’ needs and goals. As a coach herself, she understands where people are coming from and the importance of each individual’s job journey. She has successfully connected hundreds of clients with coaches, coached individual clients to land their next opportunity, and has designed and delivered numerous workshops over the past 5 years. Ildi was named a Daily Point of Light volunteer in 2018.

Ildi and her husband live in the northwest suburbs. She is a member of the Lake Zurich Planning and Zoning Commission and is the vice-chair of the NW Center Against Sexual Assault Board of Directors.
