In 2013 I became the leader of two accountability groups, now known as Job Search Work Teams. My objective was to help members of my groups learn and develop the skills necessary to obtain a new position. Over the past 7 years of providing free coaching for my two groups and individuals more than 300 job seekers have landed new jobs. I continue to enhance my skills and stay current on the ever changing process. I am able to teach individuals and teams on job search plans, resumes, handbills, interviewing skills and mock interviews, networking, elevator speech development, 30-60-90 day plans, portfolio creation, negotiating job offers and maintaining a positive approach during the job search process. My mentoring skills, both in one on one and peer group coaching are used to keep people focused on their job search and address the ups and downs of the process. I am constantly networking with individuals from new companies to add to my LinkedIn profile to help provide connections for people in job search. My success is the reward of having a person I coach land a new position.
