Chris spent more than 25 years in the toy and publishing business where he held senior marketing positions with Mattel, Tyco Toys, K’NEX, Hasbro and Publications International. After retiring at age 56, he turned his attention to the non-profit world, where he led the Executive Network Group of Greater Chicago (ENG) for 10 years. ENG was focused on supporting senior executives in job transition. He merged ENG with CareerPlace where he was Executive Director for 6 years. In 2015, he merged both groups into National Able Network, a large non-profit specializing in workforce development. He retired in 2018, but in 2020 chose to help reestablish Barrington Career Center, serving as a board member.
