Bruce Bennett

He is a career coach who provides LinkedIn Training, Career Counseling, and Coaching & Mentoring for job seekers and individuals. His interviewing experience in the private sector provided knowledge for evaluating interviews and making recommendations to candidates for better articulating their skills and capabilities. Most of his professional career was at two companies: Nielsen Media Research and Synovate. A career transition working with an outplacement service educated him about the job search process. He has been paying it forward since then.

In 2010, he started conducting LinkedIn workshops for Harper College @ the Illinois WorkNet Center in Arlington Heights. During the next several years, he conducted presentations on several topics for job clubs, networking groups, colleges, and libraries. Concurrently, he conducted mock interviews for the McHenry County Workforce Network for several years while continuing to do presentations.

Today he works with the McHenry County Workforce Network to conduct the Internet Job Seeker Series to educate people in job search. This four-part module includes everything from applicant tracking systems to resumes and LinkedIn. He empowers job seekers in their career advancement or transition.
